The story follows Lara, a 16 years old girl, and her long and exhausting battle against anorexia. But can you heal someone who doesn't believe they're sick?

In early 1971, the first squatting occupation took place in Berlin-Kreuzberg, carried out by 74 young people who wanted to create their own living spaces in an empty building. The Georg-von-Rauch-Haus and its occupation served as a catalyst for further actions across Germany. The documentary tells the stories of 13 young squatters from “the very beginning” and traces their life paths after they left the Georg-von-Rauch-Haus.

In seven scenes set in South America, the film deals with the various conflicts and (power) relationships between men and women. The individual episodes also deal with specific female role models: the bride, the wife, the rival, the abandoned, the fiancée, the abused and the determined. The scenes show a passionate, romantic longing for love, but also the harsh reactions when a promise of happiness is not so easily fulfilled. It is about heartbreak and longing, jealousy and hatred, exploitation and self-inflicted submission. Nevertheless, the basic tone remains hopeful. The stylized images are structured by off-screen commentary and tango rhythms.

Siblings Tonja and Anton Raabe have to solve the murder of a young woman and the abduction of a small child in a wooded area in Lusatia near Senftenberg. Tonja is not only confronted with her childhood trauma, but also comes into conflict with her superiors once again due to her synaesthetic abilities and solo efforts.
